"Scammer"
Hi guys, Agoda scammers,
I had a booking on 28 May (Booking ID: 2016620059). I spoke with many customer service agents, but unfortunately none of them helped properly. They kept wasting my time, refused to transfer the call to a manager, and acted like they knew better than the managers themselves. In the end, the call was disconnected.
Some of the staff also pretended not to understand what I was saying, even after I repeated myself many times. Very unprofessional service. I feel they have the wrong people handling customer support.
Please be aware and careful before booking with agoda.com�. In my experience, they keep customers on hold for almost an hour and then disconnect the call without solving the issue. It feels like many customers are facing similar problems.
Staff names involved: Nadzira. Very disappointing experience.

I use Agoda a few times a year, and the loyalty prices have helped me save on a couple of hotels. The app is easy to use too, so that part is nice. That said, I’m a little disappointed because the discounts aren’t always that great, and the rewards system could definitely be clearer. I’d probably give it 5 stars if it felt more straightforward.

"Pretty much what I expected"
I booked my hotel through Agoda and it was more or less exactly like the photos. The room looked about the same, the pool was there, and they had Wi-Fi and breakfast like listed. I didn’t run into any weird surprises when I got there, which was nice. Overall, I was happy with it and would probably use Agoda again.
"Refund went through quickly"
I had to cancel my booking and felt a bit pressured at the time, so I was worried the refund process would be a hassle. But it got approved quickly, and the money was back in my account within a few days. No major issue in the end.

When I arrived, the hotel was overbooked, I wasn’t expecting that and it was stressful. agoda did eventually find me another place after I waited around for a bit, so I appreciate that they fixed it in the end. Still, the whole thing didn’t feel very smooth

"Decent deal, but the fees were a surprise"
Agoda was okay overall. I did find a decent hotel deal, but then halfway through booking, well, really at checkout, the price jumped because taxes and fees got added later. That was kind of annoying because the first price made it seem cheaper than it actually was. I wish they showed the full total earlier so you know what you’re really paying. The booking part was easy enough and the hotel itself was fine, so it wasn’t a bad experience, just not exactly great either.

My reservation was correct and check-in went fine with no weird issues, which I appreciated. that’s the bare minimum for me—if I showed up and they couldn’t find my booking or made the process a hassle, I’d probably just leave and stay somewhere else.

"Surprisingly smooth support experience"
I had to change the date on a booking and expected it to be a bit of a hassle. I messaged support thinking I’d be waiting forever, but they got back to me quickly and handled it without a lot of back and forth. I was a little stressed about it, but the agent stayed calm and was actually really helpful. I’ll admit, it went better than I expected. I’d use agoda again.

"Pretty easy booking and saved a bit"
I booked my hotel through Agoda and, from what I could tell, the price was a little better than the other sites I looked at. There was also a small discount at checkout, which was a nice bonus. It wasn’t anything fancy, but it was easy to compare options and the final price seemed clear enough. For the amount I saved, I’m happy with it and would probably use Agoda again.

Booking was easy, and the hotel info was mostly accurate, well, at least from what I noticed when I got there. The only thing was support took a bit longer than I expected, but overall it was a decent experience

I’ve booked through Agoda a few times now, and it’s been steady for me. Compared to some other travel sites people use, the rooms I’ve gotten have usually matched the photos well enough, maybe not exactly perfect, but close for the price. One hotel was a little older than I expected, but check-in was smooth and my reservation was there with no issues. I still read through reviews and compare options before booking, but overall Agoda has been reliable in my experience.

"Wish I’d double-checked the room availability"
Agoda was okay overall, but I do wish I’d been a bit more cautious before booking. The site showed rooms as available, but after I booked, I was told one of the options actually wasn’t open anymore. Support did sort it out eventually, which I appreciated, but it was still frustrating and kind of made me regret not confirming things first. Not a terrible experience, just wish the availability had been more accurate.

I booked a small hotel through Agoda it went really smoothly. The confirmation came through fast, and when I messaged the hotel about a late check-in, they replied the same day, which I really appreciated. They also sent clear details about the address and when reception closes, so I wasn’t left wondering what to do. Everything was exactly as expected when I arrived. Simple, stress-free, and that’s pretty much what you want, right? 5 stars from me.

The payment process always felt safe, and the booking details came through right away. One time I needed to double-check some hotel info, and support got back to me quickly.
